Need help Installing WordPress on Windows Server 2008 R2

I was trying to install WordPress on Windows Server 2008 R2 with IIS installed but I got stuck on a MySQL error. The MySQL root password is not working. I am installing WP and MySQL using Web Platform Installer. I am sure the password is correct but the installer says it is not.

I tried the solution found by most users by installing the MySQL Connector but it does not work for me.

Please help.
