To add or override CSS: use the “Additional CSS” option in the customizer.  https://developer.www.ads-software.com/advanced-administration/wordpress/css/#Custom_CSS_in_WordPress or at [site]/wp-admin/customize.php if you don’t have that menu option.

Use the?Chrome Developer Tools?or?Firefox Developer Tools?to help you see and test changes to your CSS.

I have added the code, but my website remains the same. After adding your provided code, publishing it, and checking again, the site still shows the previous version. When I open Chrome Developer Tools, the code displayed is the old code, not the updated one.

The CSS should have worked if added as suggested. Do the changes show up when you access the page while logged in? If yes, it might be due to cache too. You could also try clearing the lite speed cache and see if that helps.
