Need help to start and header problem

    Hi,

    I have two things to ask.

    First of all, I have already a page called “events” for exemple.
    What’s the shortcode to put my calendar/list on the page?
    I tried matching the slug with my page, but I don’t know if it’s supposed to work like that… If it’s not the good way, how can I create the events page and how to make the menu link for this page (not only one category, but a full events page with everything)?

    Secondly, why the event is in my header?

    Thank you for your help. I would like the answer before the end of the weekend, because an event page is really important for my client. I’m at school and we have a real client and I want to do my best!

    There’s no shortcode: events are accessed through what is essentially a custom post type archive rather than a static page in the traditional WordPress sense.

    If there’s a conflict with an existing page slug you can customize ours via the events settings screens ??

    Re your display issues – that does look odd! – I suspect a theme conflict here though it could equally be connected with another plugin.

    • Can you see if altering the event template setting via the Events → Settings → Display screen helps?
    • Should that fail, can you try running through our standard troubleshooting steps to identify the source of the problem?

    Yes changing the template work now ??

    I was in “default theme for events” and I change for “default theme for pages”

    Now it look much better. It’s weird, but now it work very well
