    I’ve getting the following error message in my wordpress admin (in the lefthand navigation under the Settings menu), and I can’t figure out what’s causing it:

    Warning:
    file_exists() [
    function.file-exists
    ]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(D:\Inetpub\ideasdesigninc/wp-content/plugins/D:/Inetpub/ideasdesigninc/wp-content/themes/IdeasDesignInc/functions.php) is not within the allowed path(s): (D:\;C:\php5;C:\Temp;C:\Windows\Temp) in D:\Inetpub\ideasdesigninc\wp-admin\menu-header.php on line <b>145</b>

    Does anyone have an idea as to what might be causing this, and how I might fix it?

    Thanks in advance,
    – Yvan

    Nevermind — it turned out to be a server setting that the hosting provider changed. I was able to get it resolved quickly.

    Do you recall what that setting was?
