Troubles with the Origin commercial theme

Hi there,

I have several problems with the Elegant Theme (Origin) I am currently using and urgently need someone’s help in solving these:

1. When we use Origin theme, on the Homepage we will have lots of thumbnails that will lead us to a particular post. I’m aware that I have to make posts and upload featured images and set them under Home category.
However, on my website I can’t make that page as the main Homepage. How can I set it as a homepage?

2. I have ticked the box “Crop thumbnail to exact dimensions (normally thumbnails are proportional)”. I set it into 150 x 150. However, the thumbnails on the home page still appear to be in full-size image — not 150 x 150. I wonder why?

3. I tried to crop the image and apply the change only to the thumbnail. After I clicked Save and Update, there is no change at all for the thumbnail.
