Need Help With Category IDs

  • I’m using the theme Magazine Basic and I am having trouble working out what the Category IDs are so I can add my own list to the header. I have tried the catogory name and slug. Is there some other ID that I am missing? I am putting the coma in between as well.

  • if it says ID, that has to be a number.

    when you are in ‘admin’ ‘posts’ click on the ‘categories’ line in the little dropdown list, and then hover over the category name in the list, you can see this category ID in the browser (at least in firefox and IE) at the bottom left in the link address bar, at the end of the link url.
