Need Help with Design! (SOS)

You shouldn’t open files and modify them in FrontPage. It looks like you modified it quite a bit already, but now the HTML or CSS doesn’t validate. Nobody can’t tell what version of WordPress you’re using, either.

I recommend using one of the many templates available, then tweaking a bit. Give yourself some time to see how it all works. The WordPress guides podz wrote should definitely give you a head start.
