Need help with F8 Lite theme – nothing shows as advertised

Sounds like an outdated set of instructions. Try Looking in Admin/Settings/Media

I now have this theme in a 2.8.2 install and a retro 2.5 install to see if it’s a compatibility problem. Nothing works.

You need to use the Custom fields in your blog posts to get the images to work.
Custom field titled ‘image’ will be the main header, stick the URL to your larger image there.

Use a custom field titled ‘thumbnail’ with the smaller image URL to have is associated with the post.

I hace already managed to edit almost all the features in the f8 theme.
STILL I CANT edit de black bar under de main imagen
the default set up of the bar has 3 categories HOME LINK LINK
i needd too edit them to put categories like ; portafolio, about etc……
those anyone nows how too???????????????????????????????????

That much I can help you with, IGP.

You need to find the file named “header.php”

Open that file with notepad or something, scroll to the end, and look for “<!– Begin Navigation –>”

Underneath that, change the links to whatever you like.

ive done that, managed to edit de names of the new categories on the balck bar.
Stil when I click the they send me to the host page
i cant make the link work!????????????

this probably isnt the best way to do it but if you go to Pages>Edit, click on View that appears when you hover over the page name. Then copy and paste that URL as your link in the header. worked for me.

i did that but do i need to create images in those sizes and upload them to the images folder?
