    Dear support team,

So far we believe this app is the most suitable one for us to create the FB catalog automatically. However, there are a few issues that we need your assistance to fix it.

I had set the description like this:
Fill with a static value 雅緻窗簾捲簾精選商品 if Product Descriptionis empty
Product Description for all other products
However, FB still notify us a report of “Products need to have descriptions to run in ads. Include a description for each product in your data feed file and upload it again.”

And we had set the price like this:
Combine source fields Regular Price& space& WooCommerce Currency for all products
and change values overwrite to 0 if Regular Price is empty
and change nothing for all other products.
But we still got a report of “Products need to have prices to run in ads. Include a price for each product in your data feed file and upload it again. Prices must include cost and an ISO currency code (for example: 10 USD instead of $10 for American dollars).”

Therefore, we’re not sure which part that it went wrong.
Could you please help us to look into this issue? Thank you in advance!

No problem @juliashih, we are here to help you get the most out of our plugin.

As for the “uploading” issue. Just to be sure, are you talking about uploading the feed to Facebook, or are you talking about regenerating the feed in our plugin?

If it’s the latter, is it only doing that on Facebook feeds or also on other channels like Google feeds?

As for the additional_image_link, we do use the formal WooCommerce function get_gallery_image_ids to fetch the image ids, so I’m a bit surprised about the extra last image. If you open one of your products, can you maybe see something unusual in the Product Gallery?

    Hi @michel-jongbloed

Regarding to the uploading issue, I’m talking about the feed to Facebook.
For you to have a better understanding, here is the screenshot for reference.
    https://1drv.ms/u/s!AlyTcFbklpT6pA2r6XB4e4yXUolz?e=k43Fxe
The first image is taken after I upload the feed for 12 minutes, and it was still running endlessly.
    https://1drv.ms/u/s!AlyTcFbklpT6pA2r6XB4e4yXUolz?e=k43Fxe
The second one is after I gave up waiting and refresh the page, it shows that the uploading process is finished.

As for the additional image link, please refer to this OneDrive folder link.

Above is the example of one of the product, there is nothing unusual when I check the front and back side of the product page.
And here is the link of the feed.

Hope these reference might be helpful for you to look into it!

    Thank you so much!

As for the uploading issue. I can’t see anything wrong with the feed, so I guess it’s an issue for Facebook and not for our plugin. I would advice you to take contact with your local Facebook helpdesk to see if they can solve the issue.

As for the additional image links. One thing I noticed is that when I open the test-3273 product page (https://blindsandcurtainsdirect.com/tw/product/test-3273/), if I click to zoon in to the images (using the magnifying glass icon) I get a black screen.

I also noticed that the urls to the images on the product page (when I hold the mouse over the particular image) I get a different url that the ones that are in the feed for that specific product.

So it seems there is something not correct with the image settings, but I can’t see any obvious issues in your settings.

I will check the plugin code to see if I can change the code such that it excludes image links that don’t contain a image name.

    Hi @michel-jongbloed ,

As for uploading issue, we will report to Facebook as you suggested.

About the issue of showing black screen when you zoom in, we will update to our technical department. Btw thank you for finding out that!

However, I’m a little confused about the next issue. “I also noticed that the urls to the images on the product page (when I hold the mouse over the particular image) I get a different url that the ones that are in the feed for that specific product.”
Could you explain in more details?
Do you think this might be the reason of showing the last image with no image name?

Also, thank you for checking the plugin code. I will wait for your update!

    Have a nice day!

As for my remark about the different image url’s; I checked again and I see I was wrong. The url’s in both the feed as well as the product page are identical.

    So that’s not an issue.

I’m currently working on a patch. Could you send me an email to michel @ wpmarketingrobot.com so I can send you the patch when it’s ready and tested?
