Need help with two issues around Jetpack blog subscription emails
-
I recently discovered that several people who had subscribed to our blog posts via Jetpack weren’t able to unsubscribe from them, even after clicking the link in the emails several times. We decided to turn off Jetpack subscriptions completely and move everyone over to MailChimp.
I’ve encountered two problems doing this.
The first: When I look at our list of subscribers at wordpress.com/people/subscribers/OURSITENAME it says we have 624. When I downloaded the CSV file, there were only 391 emails.
After research, I believe the missing emails are from WordPress.com users. How do I get access to those emails? Since we turned subscriptions off in order not to bother the folks who wanted to unsubscribe but can’t, I have no way of contacting the other 200+ people.
Second, I would like to delete all the subscribers from Jetpack. Since the unsubscribe option doesn’t work, I don’t want to keep those emails around in the system. I know you can delete them one by one, but how about a mass delete?
If that can’t be done from my end, is there a way to get someone who works on Jetpack to do it from their end?
