• Hello, I have or had a website build in word press, but my hosting provider closed my hosting and all I have is backup from they and manually copied files via filezilla. Seems like there is everything, but…
I already have new hosting, imported data base (system accepted only 1 *.sql file, which is just a bit larger than 1MB, not sure if this is all what should be imported) and changed login and password in a wp-config file.
I can login into word press admin center and seems like there is everything except front-page. Now I have no idea what to do. Website looks like this:
    https://cg3d.pl and was like this:

I am not a webmaster and it’s impossible to me to rebuilt that site. Please provide some help.
You could easily find me on facebook: [ link redacted ]
    or answer here.

I think you need to hire someone to do the work for you https://jobs.wordpress.net

I wish to… but could pay only in a future, so that’s not an option for now. And this is not some hobby website, but mean to find a job in my profession, bleh.

That’s fine, it’s just that you kept trying to get people to contact you privately. We understand that the forums are not suitable for everyone, but we can’t allow the forums to be used to solicit that support elsewhere.

Oh, ok. That’s fine. I also can write here. Just thought chat type conversation is more convenient.
Also I thought about allowing someone to look into website structure by giving access, and can’t do it publicly.
Anyway, so far I get tips to check static page setup in settings->reading. But it’s all fine, in fact with only 1 page there is no space for a mistake.
I have read that maybe I should make an export of wordpress site from admin panel in a first place. but didn’t have that opportunity and I don’t think I have it now. is it necessary? or is it enough just to copy manually all files from ftp?
