Need honest recommendation for hosting companies.

    I hope some of you can give me some advice on a good hosting company for my WordPress website.
    In the past I have tried Blue Host, Host Gator and Inmotion, all of which I found extremely slow, to the point that it was not acceptable.

    The one company I’ve been using which I really like, is Siteground, because they are significantly faster for around the same price range as the others I tried before.

    The problem I have right now with Siteground is that periodically while I am adding products to my Woo commerce website, I suddenly get Site cannot be reached error messages and no matter how much I refresh the page, I get the same message. This happens with both Chrome and Firefox. I contacted Siteground tech support, and they tell me that everything looks good on their end. Of course, the problem is intermittent so if they look when everything is fine, there appears to be no problem.

    I just received a message from one of my customers saying that they wanted to buy from my website and received the following error when they clicked on the link:

    server DNS address could not be found.
    Try running Windows Network Diagnostics.
    DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

    I don’t believe this is a browser problem, and it is probably is a host server problem. Other websites work fine on my browser while this is happening. Unless one of the plug-ins I’m using which does something called a chron job every 5 min. and checks my store inventory against my eBay inventory is causing the problem? I’m not technically savvy enough, so I cannot be sure.

    I’m thinking of switching to a different hosting company, I do not mind paying a little more for better features as I did with Siteground, but I do need reliability so that potential customers do not run into this problem. Lots of hosting companies claim 99% uptime, and though this may be true it is does not appear to be the case from what I am seeing with Siteground. Which is too bad because otherwise I really like the company and the features they offer.
