I am doing a simple logo slider, where the images are sized larger than the width and height of the slide item. These are all 300px by 200px, but I want them to scale down to fit their containers at about 100px by 15px. It would seem that “smart crop” would work, but the images are being cropped out in the end result.

Is there any way to to set it so that these images will scale down to the slide area?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @jamword22

    Thanks for using MetaSlider.

In this case, Smart Crop is doing what it should: creating consistency from inconsistent images. You have some square and some landscape images.

This post has details on our cropping options: https://www.metaslider.com/docs/image-crop-options/

    Thanks for the quick reply!

I think it is a matter of us having the same size images for each logo, so we will try a few things to get it working as desired.

I recognize your name from the Joomla! community is that correct? I ran the SF Joomla Group for years with Jenn Gress.

Thanks @jamword22. Yes, that’s right. We still have a couple of toes in the Joomla world, but most of what we do now is WordPress.
