I am creating a website with the plugin Ecommerce Catalog and the theme Catalog Me!.

I created one catalog that has 5 categories of products. One category is “oil paintings”.
I need to input between 10 and 800 items (I think this is the same as a product) in each category.

After I put one item in each category, the software stops asking for additional products.

How do I set up the system such that I can add many items (products?) to each category. Each item is unique for instance many oil paintings, each different, in one category called “oil paintings”.

    Hi mmallc,

I’m not familiar with the Ecommerce Catalog plugin you mentioned. Are you using our plugin? Unfortunately, we’re not able to help with issues with other plugins. If you’re using our plugin, then it isn’t clear exactly what your issue is. Where and how are you trying to add products that it’s not letting you?

I am using eCommerce Product Catalog for WordPress. The theme recommended by the plugin is Catalog Me!. They are both developed by ImpleCode.

I go to the catalog name on the left side of the edit page and click it. A page opens which includes all of the products currently entered for this catalog.

Before I entered the last product, the top of the page included a button called “add new product”. Since I entered one product for each of five categories of products, this button is replaced by a button that says “add new ” “catalog”

I’m guessing you’ll want to get in touch with ImpleCode in that case.

I am adding a new issue because I cannot find the add new topic button after 2 hours of looking and reading and looking.

My ecommerce with catalog me! theme catalog flow, upon initial installation, flowed as follows

welcome page > product page > 5 product category pages > many individual product pages

I have eliminated the “product page” by introducing the 5 product catagories on the welcome page with HTL directly to the 5 product category pages, as follows:

welcome page > 5 product category pages > many individual product pages

Issue: when I search down to each individual product page, on the bottom of the page I find a “go back” htl to the original product page, which is in “trash”.

Everything works fine, but this may cause confusion for a customer, since the original product page is no longer shown in the list of pages at the top of the screen.

If I permanently remove the product page, will it cause a problem, and how do I make the “go back” htl on the bottom of the product pages go away or “go back” to the “welcome page”?

You may view my website at “vintageeclecticarts.com”

    Thanks for your help.

Again, I’m not sure why you’re writing here. We had a look at your site and there is no indication that you are using our plugin anywhere.
