I love the Moesia theme, especially the first ‘front page’! But I have an issue with the menu links that I would really love to fix.

I’m using four rows in my single-page layout. One with a text widget (wordpress widget), one with a video widget (moesia widget), one with a call-to-action widget (moesia widget), one with a contact info widget (moesia widget) and another text widget (wordpress widget) in that same row.

I really want the menu links to link to the rows instead of a new page. I saw other topics that you have to set the menu links to customs ones linking to the row’s section id. That works for the call-to-action, but not for my other rows. They don’t have section id’s. How can I appoint an ID to my rows that I can use to link to through my menu?

    My website is:

    Thanks in advance!

  • They do have IDs ??
    These are the ids: pg-507-0, pg-507-1, pg-507-2, pg-507-3.
The page builder plugin generates an ID for each row.

Alright it worked! Thanks a ton Vladff ??

Another quick question for my parallax image:
When I scroll over the parallax area, it becomes a bit slow/bumpy. Is it because the photo is too large of size?

    Hi!

Where do u put this ID`s? Could you be a little more specific?

    Thanks in advance!

    If you’re using Chrome:

Go to your webadress (yoururl.com, not the editting version) and right click on the element you want the ID of. Then click Inspect Element and look for

    <div class=”panel-grid” id=”yourid”>

Ok, thx, and where do I put this code?

    ??

You put the part where it says your ID (id=”yourid”) in a menu link. Go to Appearance > Menus and then in the link you put in your menu put at the URL: #yourid

Works fine for me, I’m guessing you resized your images by now?

Yeah I resized them and it’s smooth now ??

Just gonna take a little more advantage of your expertise now, last thing! Suddenly the overlay in the welcome area is gone and I can’t get it back. The Appereance > Customize does nothing for me. I miss the pattern..

Only way for it to disappear is if you deactivated it from Customize > Welcome area.

Overlay still not working, but main question was resolved

I’m having trouble with the original issue. I don’t see ID fields in my menu items, so I cant get anchors to work. I tried adding these to the URL in the row but still not working.

    Wait! Nevermind! I found it!

How do we customize the ID’s tho? So we could use #services or #contact instead of #pg-507-3, etc.?

I’d also like to know how to customize the IDs, to create better SEF menu links.
