The gform shortcode you are using has been deprecated, you really should be using the wpgform shortcode. Recommended usage of the plugin is to define the form using the Google Forms menu on the WordPress Dashboard.

It is possible to define form with preset values, if you search my site for “preset”, you will find several posts which cover this subject.

The example you’ve posted above is hard to read because some of the content is interpreted as HTML. Can you post it again and wrap the shortcode in the “code” tag?

In reading your question again it still isn’t clear to me where the value for the entry.1729249446 will come from.

However, assuming it comes from somewhere on your site, you may want to read this other thread. If I understand what you’re trying to do, the solution provided by this other user may point you in the right direction.

I just checked this forum and found out you were trying to help me despite my lack of response. So I really appreciate that. I was trying to use the “Get pre-filled URL” function that allows you to insert a value into a field on the Google Form. The 1729249446 number is the assigned value of the specific field that I need to insert a value into. The value is a unique ID number that comes from a URL parameter on my site. If I type a value into the string manually, that number gets entered into the form without any problem. So, it appears the link your sent me is something that may work, using a PHP hack with .$_GET[”]. I would need to adapt it a bit to fetch my URL parameter. I understand the gform code was deprecated, but it seems to offer the functionality I’m looking for.

Prefilled responses work, I’ve used them before. In your case it sounds like the prefilled value is not constant so using the prefilled URL to define the Google Form won’t work. In that case, the link I referenced above is the only solution I am aware of and it does have some limitations.
