need one more capability related to other plugin

  • I Am using Dokan plugin which gave user his frontend personal shop from which he can track his sales and income from frontend. this function need to assign enable selling capability to user after that he can add products from his personal frontend shop but this privileges are not show in user role editor. There is one “dokandar” capablitity show in user role editor in my site but my problem is now solving by checking it. I want to know any solution for this if any or should i purchase premium version.
    would my problem solved with premium version of user role manager.

    In a forum of Dokan plugin I had read that privileges of dokan save in the form of user meta data.have you any solution for this?

    Yes, if capability is assigned directly to the user (not to the user role), it is saved as a user’s meta data.

    I can say nothing about capabilities used by ‘Dokan’ plugin without having it on hands. Is it available at www.ads-software.com/plugins?

    I am also trying to add one custom capability for WpProQuiz plugin and by using that custom capability author should be able to see/edit/delete only his own quiz/post/pages.

    Can it possible to add this capability so I can make a site with multi author’s quizzes?

    It’s not possible to achieve just adding a custom user capability. Additional programming is required. Does WpProQuiz plugin use custom post type for its quizes?

    User Role Editor Pro allows to restrict for role/user ability to edit just own data: posts/pages/custom post types:

    Actually, I am new in WordPress so don’t know much more about it but you can see the WpProQuiz plugin screenshots: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-pro-quiz/screenshots/. They have quiz overview page and for making quizzes live, we have to use shortcodes while creating the post.

    So now I’m thinking that it’s tricky to me ??

    I looked at the WpProQuiz plugin code. It uses its own database tables, not custom post type. So User Role Editor can not help you to show to the users just their own quiz. It’s seems that user with ‘wpProQuiz_edit_quiz’ capability can edit any quiz.

    Try to ask this question to the WpProQuiz plugin author.
