Need option to show full resolution images

This is a great idea and I will add it into the plugin. Until then, I have a few options:

1. If you can edit the plugin’s code, add this line: https://github.com/ferranfg/mpl-publisher/blob/master/libs/PublisherBase.php#L714 If not, I will release a new version in the coming days/weeks with this change.
2. The plugin by default uses the same image shown on the post, so you can manually edit the original post to show the full-size image insted of the large size. This way, the plugin will use the full-size image, when creating the ebook.

Thanks for the reply. I have added the line you’ve provided. But still images are not showing in original size. My use case is that I want to show original size mindmap images in the ebook so that my students can read them in the ebook itself instead of visiting the website to read full-size mindmaps. I hope you can provide a working solution as soon as possible.

I’ve seen your sample file, and we are not having the same results. Here is a quick video I recorded where you can see I can zoom into the PDF file, and the image doesn’t blur as yours?https://share.cleanshot.com/SC0fJn5f

In this case, I have a few suggestions:

• Instead of editing the file manually, try to upload/install it from this zip:?https://github.com/ferranfg/mpl-publisher/archive/refs/heads/master.zip
• Make sure?you have “iconv” and “fileinfo” PHP extensions enabled on your server. They are pretty?common, but double-check it. If you are?not sure?about this, you should contact your hosting provider.
• I will release a new version of the plugin with this and a few more changes, so you can wait a few days more and download the plugin instead of manually editing it.

1. Tried installing the plugin you’ve provided. Still not working.
2. Those PHP extensions are enabled on my server.
3. Please release a new version of the plugin where we can enable the full-size image option in “Design” tab under “Content Images” section.

I’ve released version 2.14.2. Try to install this one.

I haven’t added a new option to Content Images. These options define the image “container” and not how images are displayed. Full-resolution images are now the default, so there is no option to change from your side.

However, make sure you don’t select “Embed images into chapter content” into Content Images, or images will be downsized before being embedded into the book. Choose “Load images from original URL” to keep full resolution.
