Need Product Thumbnail Preview Box A Different Size

Okay, so I’m using the eStore theme with the eShop plugin. I have been using the method of putting up product images that it gives me with the Elegant Themes box allowing me to upload thumbnails and featured images, but it does not make the border of the image preview window on the product page the size I need, so when people click on the product, they see this headless woman. I have updated the media.php file to allow for the thumbnail cropping, and it still does it. ONLY on the first image if you notice, though. I need the image to be a smaller but proportioned version of this. I’ve been researching a while, but I can’t seem to find anything that will allow me to change the dimensions or aspect ratio at least of the ‘preview box’. I need the images to be proportionate but smaller than their actual selves.

I was supposed to have this site done days ago, but I can’t seem to work out some of these kinks. After this it should be smooth sailing, but I really need to know how to make these product pages look spot-on. If there’s a better image display program or plugin that I can use, that would work as well. I just need this site done ASAP so I can pay my bills! Thanks guys.

Also, if you know how to get rid of that “Added in _______ _________ on Date” then that would be a great help. I’m trying to make this site simple and sort of elegant. It’s not been the easiest, though I’ve never worked with wordpress before. I have been trial and erroring my way through it though!
