Need some advice

  • Hey!, I want to create a website specifically for mobiles, I was planning to make an android application for a project however I have chosen to make a website instead that will be viewed from within an android application.

    I wanted to ask if WordPress would be suitable for creating such a website.

    Would I need to create a mobile version of the site as well as a normal version?

    Sorry for the silly question, have no experience in using WordPress or anything of the sort nor do I have any experience in creating websites for mobiles.

  • Yes will need to create a mobile friendly css and there are a few plugins you can use to detect a mobile device. I just wrote a plugin that will actually switch your theme completely if it detects a mobile device. This will allow you to keep your mobile site clean and clutter free giving you full freedom to pull whatever content into the mobile theme you would like.
