Need some help asap-if that is ok

  • This plugin Popup Maker, would it be possible for me to adapt it to do the following?

    Hi Guys. Hope that you are all well, I need some advice if that is ok? I have my first graduate job and they have given me my first commercial project to do.

    The client has put on the wireframe that they want a list of countries, when a user clicks on there home country a pop up box appears, this pop up box then appears where there is a small picture (preferably a picture of the county, from google maps) and a paragraph of each company and a link to an external website.

    I know wordpress and the divi them is a very very powerful them and I’m sure there is a plugin or a way around this. I just wanted to see if you guys could point me in the right direction. Thanks for any help you can give to me

    @rhemmings – Firstly I would move this to a support thread, but first question that comes to mind is how do you plan to manage the data? IE each country has its own description and link?

    If this is gonna be done all in one place IE as the content of one page the solution may be inline popups using the [popup] shortcode.

    If they are gonna be a custom post type etc, then the best bet may be an AJAX loading solution.

    Both are absolutely possible with Popup Maker but logistics will play a huge part. From a management perspective if there will be more than a few countries I would go with a Custom Post Type and AJAX Loaded solution.
