Hello, I’m a graphic designer trying to make a responsive website – a terrifying recipe I know.

What I want to do, using the Shortcoder plugin, is create a new shortcode that takes a piece of information (specifically the ‘Tickets Remaining’) from my WooCommerce/WooCommerce Lottery product. I want to be able to display the remaining tickets on the homepage – just as text – and things like this would be simple enough to do if it was a WooCommerce native meta data, but it isn’t, it’s an extention. That, and I have no clue what I’m doing frankly.

I figured I could find the information in the database and somehow pull it from there… but that’s beyond my knowledge. But, I’m happy to try and I know more than I’d have you believe from what I’m saying.

Can anyone help, I’m sure I can’t be far off with my process.

    Hi Kyle,

Shortcoder works flawlessly when plain HTML is involved.

But for dynamic things like querying DB, only PHP has to be used.

Can you please check with woocommerce support for the same ?
They may suggest the a PHP function or something similar.
You can then directly use it in the theme.

    Thanks,
    Aakash
