Need Some Help with 2 Quick Fixes

    I have two things I am trying to figure out , have worked back but still don’t see it:

    1. permalinks – I am using Yoast SEO plugin. I have set the permalinks as per the directions … I notice that the <title> tags show up on the address bar, is that suppose to happen? I looked back on another blog that I have and it doesn’t show, so figured I did something wrong.

    2. css styles – the Subscribe Post/Comment box is too low on my page and I wanted to move it up and change the colour so it shows better. I found it on the CSS style sheet for the page I am using – reloaded it and then refreshed but it isn’t changed. Is there somewhere else I am suppose to change it?

    Thanks for the help … I have to say my learning curve, well it isn’t curving yet, but this forum has been a huge, huge help!

  • 1. NO the actual tag <title> should not be displaying. I’m guessing there’s an error in your header.php file.

    2. Without a link to your site, there’s no way to help you.

    You’re using a theme that’s not GPL compatible and their license terms are a hoot.

    In fact, they don’t let you download the theme unless you provide them your email which I am not going to do, and honestly we don’t support non-GPL software here.

    Try switching to another theme, there are many good ones here too.

    Thank you for replying back … I don’t know what GPL compatible means but I will do a search here and will find out. Wish I had of known that before I spent the last 2 weeks figuring everything out.

    Thank you for the link and I will see if there is another theme that will work.
