    Hello there dev, Hope you are doing good.

    Need a suggestion, We are looking to launch podcast website where 1000’s of audio files with categories will be posted. So we sort of design basic template and create shortcode for that using your plugin. we will be using single shortcode for placing audio file with default title and categories within the same shortcode. And like that we want to create 1000’s of posts. So my doubt is since we are on shared hosting will this cause any issues. or would you suggest anything better.

    Hi Paul,

    What you are doing should is normal and there wouldn’t be issues.

    Shortcode content can by of any size just like any other normal post. The shortcode content is cached in memory when a page is loaded and the shortcode placeholder is replaced with it.

    There are many users with many number of shortcodes created and there are no issues reported as such. In your case the number of shortcodes is less but it’s content is big. So that should be completely fine.
