Need theme that supports magazine issues

  • I’m looking for a WordPress theme that can be used with a magazine and supports issues.

    Each issue has several articles such as reviews, patterns, etc., and each of the articles is in a category, such as book reviews, supply reviews, accessories, etc.

    I’ve looked some at what are categorized as themes for magazines but none seem to support actual issues like a printed magazine would do.

    Any suggestions on a theme that would work for me?

    I’m not currently using WordPress but am considering it if I can find the right theme. The software I’m using now only works with joomla 1.5 and won’t be updated any longer and their new extension for joomla 2.5 isn’t ready and I can’t afford to upgrade to it when it is released.
