    I have already done this but the purchaser doesn’t always fill in the information. Then I have to email him.

    Could another solution be to create a check-out page which would have an additional “fake” product on it at a cost of zero dollars but with a variation of the pickup locations?

    The simple cart doesn’t have an option for what you explained.

    You could maybe do the following as a potential solution:

    1) put a contact form on your “Thank You” page where you ask them to fill in this info. When they land on the thank you page after the payment, they can add the info there (if they have forgotten to do it during the transaction).

    2) Add a message in the notification email (the email that customers receive after paying). You can maybe tell them in the email that they need to provide this special info to you. If they have done it already then thats fine. If they haven’t then they can email you or go to a page where they fill in that info.
