    Hello.

When we get press coverage and send out press releases, it is not always added to the web page the same day. Therefore we need to be able to manually set the date of the press release and/or coverage.

This would need an extra input in coverage-meta.php and if it is has a valid date then it should be used instead of the current date. If it has a value that is not a valid date then the user should be advised that the form is illegal.

If you’re able to add this and css styling tags to the output (issue raised by tomeronen) then you’ve got a five star review heading your way.

You should be able to set the date of both press release and coverage via the “Publish” meta box, setting it to an earlier or future date.

The current version of the plugin 0.4.2 has CSS classes added to the markup, the next version will have some improvements in this area.

    Current CSS classes:

    nooz-list
    nooz-group

    nooz-location-datetime
    nooz-subheadline
    nooz-boilerplate
    nooz-ending

As of v0.5.2, you now can change the date format of both list pages and press-release pages. Additionally, the output now exposes several css classes which you can use in your style.css file to better style content output.

    Hey,

sorry to dig this up, but it seems it’s broken. If I understand correctly modifying the post date via the “Publish immediately => Edit” feature should be possible, but when I click it, nothing happens, while the date selector appears for all normal blogposts.

The result you can see in action at the bottom of https://www.beerhouse.co.za/press/ – it’s a listing with all entries coming from December 28th (today) when I created them.

Any idea how to fix that?

Hi, thank you for the feedback .. In doing a quick test with the recent version (v0.7.0) all seems to be working correctly. Do give this another try. I will continue to investigate.

Nooz 0.7 and WordPress 4.3.1 in use.

I found a workaround to my problem. In the edit.php?post_type=nooz_coverage view I can use the quick edit links to change the date. In the ‘main’ view on
wp-admin/post.php?post=2406&action=edit nothing happens, other than a #edit_timestamp being added to the URL, when I click the edit link next to the timetamp.
