Need to change "Published by" to "Event date"

  • Am creating a site for a client’s purposes. Because their posts mostly talk about events previously published elsewhere, I would like to just change every occurrence of “Published by” on all posts to “Event date” or “Occured”… anything but the word “Published” which means different things to different folks in this context.

    I don’t believe it’s an option anywhere within the WP control panel (if so can you please tell me where… I’m not seeing it). I don’t mind editing a little CSS but thought someone might have a more elegant solution. A plugin that covers such details perhaps?

    I’m running WP4 on a hosted server account with a customized Artisteer template. Thank you very much for any help!

  • What you need to change probably actually resides in a theme template, however you’ll need to ask for assistance from the Artisteer support forums. The methodology behind the construction of Artisteer themes is unique to their theme building product.
