Need to do anything to rsyslogd?

Using Centos EL6/Plesk 12, and noticing nothing in the /var/log/messages, /var/log/secure or /var/log/auth.log (this file did not exist; I created it for this plugin) .. Do I need to do anything to rsyslogd’s conf?
