Need to know best video plugin that works with iPhone/iPad

  • I am moving a large, video-centric website to WP from a different CMS (RadiantCMS). All of the videos on the old site are flv which means that they will not play on iDevices. As part of the redesign/realignment we are looking to reencode all the videos to work with the largest number of devices.

    In my research I came across two plugins that seem to do the trick: the Stream Video Player (https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/stream-video-player/) and the Degradable HTML5 video player (https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/degradable-html5-audio-and-video/). Both will allow me to get the video content to a wide range of users, but as I am new to the WP community, I have no idea if these are best-of-breed plugins.

    Could somebody give me just a nugget of advice that would help me find the right plugin (whether the above two or something else) for my task.

    The development site is on v2.9.2 it will be upgraded to v3 before it is made live toward the end of the summer.

    Bump. I have tried searching, but this search on this forum isn’t very helpful. And I can’t find anybody by googling whose done a proper review of either plugin.

    I too am looking for a video player thats pretty simple to use and works with the iPhone and iPad.
