Need to make Theme Base Wp wider

    If anyone would be so kind to help me make the make the content-post width wider I would greatly appreciate it. I have coded websites before but am new to wordpress. I was able to make the sidebar wider buy increasing the width of the .widget. However now my page is not completely centered and I would really like the content of my posts to be wider. Please let me know what I can do. I have searched your previous posts and can’t find anything that has helped me for this theme.
