need to modify to use proxy server

Hi,
I am using this plugin but form validation fails (CAPTCHA failed. Please try again!). I believe this is because I typically need to use a proxy server on my host. I need a version of this function modified to use a proxy server:gravity_forms_validate() in file class-gf-no-captcha-recaptcha-public.php.
Can you help or give me an example?
