need to put excerpt on main page when main page isn't index.php

  • I’m using the multiple content boxes plugin and a static page for my index page, so I can’t set up to have current posts (i.e. index.php) as my main page in settings>reading. How do I put JUST the excerpts under my blog section on this home page, and have it be pulling from the posts?
