need to re-display AGCA Settings

  • I have installed the plug in on a site I manage, and activated it. I went and hid the admin items I want hidden, including tools. I need to re-display the AGCA admin settings, but have hidden them. Is there any way I can revert or undo this action?

    I have used the plugin numerous times in the past, but always been able to re-display it before but I think I read on a thread the settings for the app are in a new location

  • If you’re admin, you should be able to access plugin’s settings directly if you type its address in address bar like this:

    https://yoursite.com/wp-admin/tools.php?page=ag-custom-admin/plugin.php

    Hi,
    the link above worked for me until today, when I have updated to WP 4.2.2. Now when I log in WP I cannot see the AGCA admin settings in the menu. Its a big problem because I don’t know how to get there to change settings, I cannot update other plugins ecc
    Any idea?

    That should work with this version too. Please make sure that the plugin is correctly installed and activated on Plugins page. Please also check if theere is a folder “ag-custom-admin” in wp-content/plugins folder on your site. If you rename this folder, this link would be different. Thanks!

    Thanks Argonius, using that link I was able to access the settings and change them back again.
