Need to rearrange Headline & Subheadline

Using CyberChimps Responsive Free theme (as child theme method) running WordPress 4.4.1. I would like to play around with rearranging the Headline & Subheadline to be above the slideshow I’ve inserted on the front page. These headlines are accessible in Theme Options->Home Page settings.

I did upload CyberChimps alternate Front-Page.php template which is supposed to have a wider content box, but it’s not getting picked up, so unsure how to accomplish this using a child theme. Appreciate any advice. Thank you.
