need to remove html snippet from post

My html snippet code [xyz-ihs snippet=”Daily–Blessing”] is showing on one of my post. My daily blessing did show on my home page but only the snippet code showed on one of my post. I deleted the snippet code and removed the daily blessing from my home page but this code was still on my post, then I tried to add the daily blessing again to my home page using a widget and sidebar as I did before, the snippet would not add it this time and the snippet code was still on my post . Please help
