• Hello: I am using the theme, Autumn Almanac (https://loseyourself.org/) – I like the simplicity of it and its perfect for someone (me) who only want to post and not get into codes.

However, I would like to be able to replace the header photo from time to time. Any idea how I do this?

    Thanks in advance

  • FTP upload a replacement image 1000px x 250px and name it header.jpg to your /wp-content/themes/autumn-almanac/images/folder
P.S. save the old image in case you want to use it again ??

Thank you Mercime. I did try this, but it is not showing up. After I upload it, is there a button or something that says save?

I’ve done this many times and not had to push save. once the new file (named exactly as the original one is named) has been put in to your FTP in the right place (as above)it should automatically load. In putting your own image in to that place you are overwriting the old image.

What FTP are you using? I’m new to this too but someone might be able to help you more if they know what program you’re using.
