Need to reset cache or unistall

Hello,
I have an issue where in a form controlled by another plug in needed a .php override to add text to the top of it. Basically just meant adding a new version of the form in a different directory. Ok but now it needs updating, and the cache won’t let go of the old version when its updated, removed, or even when the cache plug in itself is turned off.
Hence, is there some way other than clearing the caches to reset everything having to do with the plug in? I’ve reset the caches and no effect. I’ve overridden and removed the .php override file and no effect. It’s clearly cached somehow.
As a last resort I can uninstall the cache plug in but I’m wondering if even that will work as it all seems to defy logic as to why it’s not updating when the cache is turned off.
Any ideas? please?
