    Hello.

I am facing a problem with displaying categories. When I installed a plugin to make a custom shop and archive page, my default archive page stopped showing. So now I’m trying to make it just like it used to be (Yes, if I disable the plugin, it’s shown normally. The plugin currently doesn’t have an option to show subcategories, only products of the parent category). But if I can’t use a custom archive page yet, I still want to use the custom made shop.

So my question is: How would I show subcategories when I open a category that’s containing them? I used the [products] shortcode, which works alright when there are only products inside of the category. However, when I open the category that should have subcategories inside, it’s showing ALL of the products as if they were in the main category. There are no subcategories, just the products.

I don’t want the products to be extracted, I need them to be sorted just like they are sorted in dashboard in categories.

    Kind regards

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

May I ask what plugin you are referring to?

Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

To get a better understanding, could you share a screenshot of an example category settings? I recommend?https://snipboard.io?for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in this chat. It works with Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

In case you haven’t checked, the available shortcodes with core WooCommerce can be found here: https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/

We’ve not heard back from you in a while, so I’m marking this thread as resolved. If you have further questions, please feel free to open a new topic.
