For various reasons, I need to remove “AliDropship Woo Plugin” for another such as “ALD – Dropshipping and Fullfillment”. I have already loaded and edited (at length) 50 products. When I test the new plug in, the products are no longer connected to source (ie. I cannot open in Aliexpress). Will I need to reload them from Aliexpress? Can I reconnect them to source with the SKU#? Can I export them and upload to reconnect them? Can I use another plugin?

    Hi @reenieh,

Thank you for reaching out to us. It’s important to note that when switching from the “AliDropship Woo Plugin” to “ALD – Dropshipping and Fulfillment,” there might be differences in how these plugins handle product data and connections to AliExpress. This could be why your products are no longer linked to their source on AliExpress. I can suggest a few steps to address the concerns:

    • Reloading Products: It might not be necessary to reload all products from AliExpress. Some plugins offer a way to synchronize existing products with new plugin data.
    • Reconnecting with SKU#: If the SKU numbers are consistent, it’s possible that the new plugin could use them to reconnect the products to AliExpress. However, this depends on the features of the “ALD – Dropshipping and Fulfillment” plugin.
    • Exporting and Uploading: This could be a viable option if the new plugin supports importing products via CSV or another file format. You would need to export your current product data and then import it into the new plugin.

    Here’s what to do:

    1. Backup your store.
    2. Check the new plugin’s import/export features.
    3. Test with a few products first.

Let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.

Hi there ?? We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
