• Hello everyone,

I need your help solving a problem.

When I receive in my inbox a notification regarding my new WordPress website (she just rises), the sender is the name of one of my previous websites (back to the Hamptons).

I don’t know what is going on. Any ideas?

    Thanks for your help ??

  • Everyone is looking for help in this forum. Your topic title is therefore not very appropriate ??

What kind of emails are you talking about exactly? And are you sure that they come from the current website and not from your previous one?

    Hello @threadi,

You are totally right! Sorry about this ??

The last e-mail I received was a notification of an extension update.

The sender is the name of my old site (back to the Hamptons)

In the subject line, the name of my new site (She just rises) is in brackets.

Thanks in advance for your help.

The output there is probably related to your local address book for e-mail addresses. Take a look at the details of the email to see if the sender’s name comes from your local address book.

    Hello @threadi

    Thanks for your response.

What is my local address book? Sorry, I don’t understand.

The sender email is <[email protected]

    Thanks for your help.

The local address book is what your email service provider Gmail apparently provides for you. You can read more about this here in their FAQ: https://support.google.com/contacts/answer/7280886 – the email you mentioned must be somewhere there, and the old name for it will probably be stored there.
