  • firstly, your blog loads very slowly, actually it still has not completely loaded. So, to start with, here are a few ways by which you can lower loading time of your blog,

    1) The facebook stream, you can remove the stream out of the facebook widget… it will still contain the fans,
    2) You are having a lot of images on the frontpage, including ads banners that takes up loading time.

    otherwise, it is an excellent blog, nice magazine theme, the studio press themes are cool anyway ??

    nice use of social media, very nice and brandable logo, good content, overall i like you blog. just a suggestion though, i see that you have the same social buttons at the top of your post page and at the bottom too, i mean if you have the twitter/facebook on the top, then try stumble/reddit at the bottom ??

    You should really work on website loading speed, as recently google has started pushing more in website speed, there are lots of tips available for wordpress to load faster, you can try gzip and enable cache for your general layout areas.. improving in terms of loading speed helps both users and SE in my humble opinion

    Thank so much for the feedback. I thought that it loaded slow. I made those adjustments you suggested.

    Do you know of any plugins that would help?

    I found this plug in called Autoptimize. I am going to test it out to see if it will speed up the site. It seems to do a ton of good stuff.

    I have installed that plug-in and optimized by database. Could you check the site over again and let me know if you have see any improvements.

    Hiya..a nice website. But i think you have given a lot of advertisements which are no doubt a cause of distraction. Loading time i found it ok. Yes if you want you can change background image :)I think because of use of lot of images and java script the load time is OK and not good ??
