It’s workflow is also confusing. The configuration options are numerous and unclear. Proof reading for English clarity is required throughout the plugin.

Why are no campaigns listed under my campaigns on the dashboard, when draft campaigns exist? This is confusing and makes them hard to find.

You’ll get all of the cmpaigns on the “Campaigns” > My Campaigns > tab

Clicking the Edit button on a draft campaign gives a 404 error from the my campaigns Page.

Without publishing any campaign, you can’t see that. Our dev team working on this issue. We’ll fix this soon.

Is there a way to disable the love hears which are displayed on campaign pages? They are not necessary in many cases.

Yes possible by adding this CSS code:

div#campaign_loved_html {
    display: none;
}

How can the related products block be disabled? The ‘add to cart’ button is inappropriate for crowdfunding campaigns.

How can the author bio block be disabled? This doesn’t make sense for a site where all campaigns are from the website administrator

Is the plug-in compatible with multi currency from WooCommerce?

No multi-currency does not supported.

@samtuke I would love to give this plugin a chance but I am really suspicious. A lot of those 5 stars ratings are by people who have only 1 or up to 3 reviews at www.ads-software.com. That’s why I would really want to know more about your experience. Thanks in advance.

@boonika I have not done further testing, but we do plan to make a new website using this plugin soon.

I recommend that you try out the plugin on a development server. It should only take you an hour or so to get all the required plugins installed and configured. Then you can write your own review ??

@samtuke thanks. I might do that. I mean, we have the Give plugin already integrated and almost ready to go. The ratings and what we see on reviews gives us a lot more confidence and somehow I feel that the support they offer is more consistent. Still, I think that WP Crowdfunding is a great idea and most of the features they have listed is what we actually need. We’ll see. Cheers!
