• I didn’t get very far with this plugin. When you install it, it asks for a Yelp API key, which I’m ok with. The link from settings to Yelp to create the API results in a 404 error. So I followed the link to the WordImpress site with instructions, and that explains how to create a Google Maps API key… which is not the same. The fields in the plugin ask for a Yelp API key, not google maps. I don’t even need a map. So I’m confused. Uninstall.

    Hi @amsweb1,

I work ticket support for the Yelp Widget and other plugins by WordImpress. I am happy to chime in and offer the link to the create your Yelp API key.

The link is: https://www.yelp.com/developers/api_console. You’ll just need to create a free account there and then you’ll be able to create the API key.

We are working to update this link ASAP. Thank you for reaching out with this question as I want to make sure others have the updated link and am happy to be able to add that here for reference until we have it updated in the plugin.

Let us know if you have any other questions or run into any issues setting up the key.

    Thanks!
