Negative Leave and Manual Leave Balance Changes

    I am very impressed with this plug-in….

    Two questions:

    1. Is there a way to allow negative leave for an employee requesting leave?
      i.e. Is there a way an employee can apply for 5 days leave when they only have 2 day left in their entitlement.
    2. Am I able to manually change an employee’s leave balance?
      This is for a new customer and they are starting with us 1/2 way through their leave cycle?

    Probably the easiest way would be to add additional leave policies for the migration year and the over booking. For example add one called ‘Over-booking’ for leave outside the normal limits or ‘Year 1 partial’ for the transitional period. Booking leave to those would make it visible and recordable and leave a ‘clean’ policy for standard leave.
