    Hi,

I have come across a recurring problem and not sure how to fix it for good.
I have a top navigation bar, which I want floating over the first section of the page. The navigation bar is set transparent and I used -150px margin on the first section to achieve this.
When I edit the page the first section sometimes bugs out and only displays a white screen when the page is loaded. Everything else loads just fine, including the nav bar. When I adjust the negative margin by a few pixels it is fixed, all back to normal. However, this morning someone messaged to say that this bug is happening on their end even though it loaded just fine on my computer. Any idea how to fix it??? Or is there a better way to display the navbar over the first section?

    TIA,
    Leona

  • Hi @leonajevens!

    Thanks for choosing Neve!

Given the behavior that you describe, this issue doesn’t seem to be related to the theme itself. The fact that it only happens on some occasions indicates that it might be a conflict in your setup, either a (custom) CSS or a plugin conflict. You could try to backup your site, deactivate all plugins, then reactivate them one by one so you will be able to check if there is a plugin conflict that causes this and replace that plugin with an alternative one.

    Have a nice day!
