Negative user_id in mysql when a new user is created

    here is my problem, each time a new user register in my blog, in the database its creates a user_id negative , a number realy long 10 caracters like -1020394828

    in the database looks like

    user_id
    -1020394823
    -1020394822
    -1020394821
    2323
    2324
    2324
    2325
    2326

    i recently suffer a hack atack to my forum, and this guy do somthing that alterate the database of the forum, the blog has a diferent database but they are bouth conected by a plugin the forum is in smf,

    i have to fix the problem of the negative number user id
