    Hey there,

    Is it possible to restrict Nelio from loading JS files on pages that are not configured to run split tests? A custom script of mine is being interrupted, due to an error in the Nelio JS (only in IE, it is something about a trailing comma after an JS object is being created).

    Here is the specific line in the code (the comma after the return statement)

    return”html”+e},});function nelioab_areCookiesEnabled()

    I was wondering if either A) Removing that trailing comma would be safe, or B) Loading the JS only on pages where Nelio A/B is present.

    Let me know.

    Thanks.

    Hi Segan,

    Thanks for getting in touch, and sorry for the delay in our answer; we’re usually much more responsive in https://support.nelioabtesting.com ??

    Regarding your issue, I just updated the latest version of our plugin (3.3.5) so that it does no longer include the trailing commas. Please update the plugin to the latest version and check if the error persists. Hopefully, this error should be fixed (alternatively, you can remove the trailing commas yourself -there’s more than one-, because it’s completely safe).

    On the other hand, we do not recommend disabling our tracking scripts from (some of) your pages. These page may be cached, and it’s important that, whenever an experiment is created for them, the tracking script is present in the cached version.

    Please, let us know if the update fixed the issue!

    Regards,
    David

    Hi Segan. We heard no more from you. Since the plugin was updated to fix the issue you mentioned, I’ll mark this topic as resolved.

    Happy Holidays!
