Nested albums

  • How can I create multi-level albums? I’d like to have at least 2 levels where on the higher level to display only the album cover image. And when selected – to display all the images in the album.

    Can the GMedia use images from WP Media library w/o creating a 2nd copy of the files?

    And one more question:
    Can GMedia use the categories assigned to images by Enhanced Media Library plugin for easy filtering?

    1) Unfortunately, there is no way to create multi-level albums. But I think that with combination of Album -> Categories -> Tags there are a lot of possibilities.

    2) Gmedia uses separate storage folder for its files, because WP Media creates many unnecessary copies of images with different sizes and it stores images from all plugins in one place.

    3) Different plugins uses different Database tables for storing information. Enhanced Media Library enhance the possibilities of default WP Media. But Gmedia is like the separate library for your galleries, but not the storage for images from the forums and different plugins. I’m trying to connect Gmedia with WP Media more closely, but it’s very difficult.
