I updated to 3.5 and now, while the sites work fine and the admin pages for the individual sites/users work, my network admin pages are blank.

I never get an error message or anything. The sidebar loads but the admin bar and the main page do not. Any ideas? I’m currently hosting around 2000 sites (k-12 teachers) and don’t want to do anything that will disrupt their service—it’s just me that is convenienced right now.

Do you have any plugins that only you use? That is stuff that’s only available to the super admin?

Thank you for the response Ipstenu,

I have things working again. Here is what seems to have happened. BBPress or something interacting with it managed to go a little crazy assigning folks as participants of sites with which they were not associated at all. In the case of the admin account, it went particularly wild—causing the site list in the admin bar to time out simply trying to generate the list of sites.

I was able to remove the connections in wp_usermeta after which things started to work again. I’m now going through things trying to figure out where the mess started.

    Brian
